In April 2014, the Foundation implemented a new athletic stadium donor recognition program. For gifts of $1,000, or more, donors will have the opportunity to sponsor a row of bleacher seats. A nameplate will be affixed to both ends of a row of seats, naming the sponsoring individual, business, or alumni class.
After years of planning, fundraising, and construction, the Sue D. Cooley Stadium at Lahainaluna (da Imu) has been completed. Anticipating future maintenance costs, the Foundation will continue to offer decorative brick pavers and bleacher sponsorships in order to meet these needs.
Pavers are available in three sizes; 4"x 8", 8"x 8" & 16"x 16", and will recognize gifts of $150, $500, $1,250, & $1,500 (Patron Paver Plus) respectively.
Bleacher sponsorships are also available, and gifts of $1,000, or more, will be recognized with nameplates on each end of a row of bleachers. To date, thirty-seven (37) rows of bleachers have sponsors.
